2024年3月24日 · A shiny Groudon as buddy, saw a clone of it, knew it being Zorua, threw an excellent with pinap, it ran (first time I had a Zorua run away, it's often caught just by random throw before). In my journal, it display a red Groudon ran away instead of the shiny version.

2020年6月19日 · Slate me if I missed the sarcasm but the origin is from the colour of the shiny. Zoroark is a purple black and zorua is black blue. An aurora is the fancy 'Northern lights' where there can be blue, green, purple lights floating in the night sky further in the northern hemisphere, hence the name suggestion.

On average with 1/64 odds, if 1000 people encountered 313 Zorua, about 7 would not see a shiny. But also, the shiny wasn't available until a year after it was released, so any you encountered before Halloween event 2023 wouldn't have had a chance.

2023年8月8日 · I know Zorua is tricky because it can disguise itself so you have to auto battle everything. But I’ve done a dozen or more resets without a single shiny; most hunts take me 4-5 at most. I’m doing it north of Medalia where they disguise as Mabosstif.

2022年2月8日 · I mean, with the new Shiny Hunting method, it's still moderately easy, you just need to get lucky with a normal looking MMO Zorua, or you need to get a Glistening spawn. Both of those things aren't incredibly difficult to do.

2021年9月17日 · I’ve tried both. The benefits of breeding is better odds, control over nature and ivs and ability to an extent. The benefits of Random Encounters is chance for a mark, square shiny if you like that, don’t necessarily have to get rid of a million breedjects at the end (but that’s easier with Pokémon Home now).

Zorua will always show up as what your buddy is, so if your buddy is shiny it’ll always show up as a shiny and if not it’ll never show up as a shiny. Whether it becomes a shiny after you catch it is completely random
