Hi There, I'm connecting to my office computer from a brand new Dell laptop using Windows 10 and once connected my mouse pointer gets extremely small. Approx. 1/4 the size of a sunflower seed. I've enlarged the mouse pointer on both computers and it doesn't help.

Oct 27, 2024 · Hello. Looks like you have a custom mouse pointer. My mouse pointer is a cat. I think it maybe possible you have a large mouse pointer set. Try to change the default mouse pointer. Win+R -> Control.exe -> Control Panel\All Control Panel Items -> Mouse -> Pointers

Jul 12, 2017 · The "insertion point cursor" exhibits the same problem in MS Word. I have tried updating my mouse and video drivers, and checked the mouse pointers in Control Panel, but not all mouse pointers are shown there (i.e. MS Word "insertion point cursor" must be application specific). Anybody know what might be causing this, and how to remedy the problem?

grey box/circle appears on window and trapps cursor
Oct 17, 2019 · it used to be only a grey box now it is sometimes a circle, the mouce cursor seems to be trapped inside like a shadow cursor sometimes there are 2 cursors on screen at the same time! i have to touch the box/circle to "free" the cursor. tends to happen around edges of screen ,top right or bottom of screen. Really annoying!
