Soothe 2.. I Just discovered GOLD. Discussion, In what ways do
2023年7月21日 · So I've had Soothe 2 for a while now... And I just found something that sounds absolutely GREAT! So I put it on After all my compression and Eq's, Depth at 2.3 and selectivity pretty high (like 65%) and the sharpness even higher (85 percent), and I set the "eq" notches pretty high at like 7-8 db, with a dip in the mids and in the super highs...
Soothe 2; what are you using it for mostly? : r/edmproduction
2022年7月7日 · Surprised nobody has mentioned it but soothe 2 is a great spectral suppressor. I mainly use it to carve room in for a vocal or any sound to cut through a mix. The catching resonant peaks is nice but there’s a ton of other uses for soothe. It’ll really help your mix breathe if you use it correctly in sidechain mode.

I ended up buying DSEQ3, because after all my tests i found no winner, sometimes Soothe made a better job, while sometime DSEQ was the winner with a 50/50 scenario, and in every case the differences were very sighly i even doubt anyone else without trained ears would notice the …
I’m going to buy one of these two plug-ins and want to know
Soothe 2 has no real alternative, other than DSEQ3. That said, ProQ3 will be something you constantly use, all the time. Soothe is going to be something you pull out every once in a while for a special case. But it really kicks ass at those things.
Soothe 2 vs Gullfoss vs Trackspacer? : r/mixingmastering - Reddit
Soothe targets the resonance peaks of incoming audio signal and reduces them with different resolution. Gullfoss automatically balances your mix by removing/enhancing frequencies dynamically. Trackspacer, well, puts space between tracks with conflicting frequencies, kick/bass, guitar/vocals, strings/synths etc.
Sharing some 'advanced' techniques using a few of my favorite
2021年2月9日 · Soothe 2 from Oeksound is one of my favorite plugins of all time. The day to day situations it's most helpful for are taming unruly resonances like snare rings, upright bass that's woofing out in the low end, overly muddy anything, and overcooked midrange.
