Go to Settings > Devices > Printers and Scanners > click on your printer and click on the Manage button. When the new windows opens, click on Printing Preferences. That's where you select your default paper size.

My Word documents are always made on Letter size paper. When I would go to print, the print settings in Word would say the page size is Letter.

If your slide is 16:9 Widescreen format originally created in PowerPoint 2007 or 2010, it is 10"x 5.63" and will print on letter-size paper with 1/2" margins on either side.

I created a document and set the paper size as "Super B small margin" (13in. x 19in.) that document printed with no problem until I installed a different printer and set the new printer to the default printer.
