I can still press the wheel and get the same functionality as before, but the scrolling stopped. Before it had distinct steps, now the wheel is smooth as DerickBo reports. I have used the mouse with other units and the same result.

2019年7月21日 · Most Microsoft Bluetooth devices will not work with a Mac of any model for an unknown reason. Sometimes the keyboards will or the Mouse 3000 series will (at times). Just get a cheap, $5 Bluetooth mouse (generic) and it will work fine.

The mouse, however, is no longer accepting/recognizing new batteries. It was purchased in April 2019 from Amazon and is a model KGY-00001. It was no longer responding so, I replaced the batteries.

Their is no exact button for power ON and OFF but for Surface Bluetooth Keyboard and mouse, you can turn it OFF by Pressing and holding the Bluetooth Button of the keyboard for at least 5-7 seconds until it's unpaired. For the keyboard it's located beside the Battery case.
