Well that may be true if you'd rather change the entire transmission prematurely rather than reasonable intervals for fluid service. I personally know 2 Ford Master Technicians and both of them recommend a 30K interval for fluid service on the 6F35 transmission.

2018年3月26日 · Yes, it is an Aisin transmission. If you buy a Ram 2500 CTD and want the heavy duty transmission you'll have to pay extra and then you get a transmission made by Aisin. By the way, it looks like it is almost a PIA to just check the fluid level (see attached). When the time comes to change fluid on my truck I'll just pay the dealer.

2020年1月21日 · Here is what I’ve been using. Its cheap at Wallywurrlld at around $14 a gallon. You’ll need 2 gallons. Use the extra on your Power Steering fluid change. Same fluid goes there. The service fluid change is easier than a oil change. Usually takes about 4-4.5 quarts. Measure your stick with engine warm and on level ground.

2017年5月22日 · that's why i do all my own. 5 gallon bucket of synthetic gear oil is around $200. that's almost three changes of both diffs and transmission. 4 gallons of toyota red should be about $60. $50 for each oil change with mobil1 synthetic...havent' looked into tranny yet, but appears i could do three changes for the price of one at your shop :O

2019年4月1日 · After warming up the transmission and before draining out the old fluid, I was curious to see if the factory fill was up to the "level check" plug. I removed the upper plug and about 4 to 6 ounces of fluid ran out. I drained and measured the factory fill, it came to about 4.1 quarts. As stated, I drained and refilled the transmission three times.

2022年3月10日 · With my 2016, the top plug simply pulled out of the rubber hose- there was no need to undo the clamp and pull the entire hose assembly off the transmission. This thread may help 2019 1.5L Ecoboost transmission fluid change - it appears to be possibly be the green cap in the second pic. Or fill it via the level check plug on the side of the trans.
