Kuşcenneti National Park, literally "Bird Paradise National Park", is located at the Lake Kuş, literally "Lake Bird", also known as Lake Manyas, and is 18 km (11 mi) far from Bandırma district of Balıkesir Province in northwestern Turkey. [1] Historically, Lydians settled from the 8th century BCE on in the southeast region of the Lake Kuş.
