Can you turn off the HP Active Pen
2017年10月21日 · Thanks for replying David, but it doesn't turn off. The pen was sitting next to the laptop overnight, the laptop was switched to sleep mode. I tried the pen, hovering near, but not touching the screen. The pen definitely registers on the screen. 😞

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, You may press the button (on top of the stylus/pen) for 3 seconds (the same way you'd set the device up to pair) and the light goes off. There is a very small indicator light that is only visible if the end of the pen is twisted into the lock position.

2020年8月16日 · Let go of the top (eraser) button and the light switches off. I assumed the pen is switched off. However, when I bring the pen close to my hp spectre laptop screen to check if it is switched off, I can still use the pen - hence it is not switched off by holding the top (eraser) button for 3 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds.

2019年9月1日 · I am using the HP Active Pen with App Launch T4Z24AA, which came with the HP Elitebook x360 1030 G2. I am also trying to find a way to turn off the pen.
