Have no doubts that if you look at current tribes in Africa, depictions/accounts from European explorers, and text and drawings from ancient African civilizations you will see dreads are a deep rooted part of our culture.

2023年5月3日 · Anecdotal, but as a white guy, when I had my dreads, the only negative comments I received were from white people, I only ever got compliments from POC. And total randoms too, I would get stopped just to get complimented. Sort of seems like the only people who care about white people having dreads are other white people.

2021年5月3日 · Well, white people using Black slang, wearing Black fashion, rocking Black hairstyles and making hip hop and RnB records have decisively NOT lessened racism in any way. So, even though I don't have a personal problem with white people and dreads, it's a bit silly to think that they're somehow actively ending racism.

And I can almost assure you 100% that you will never be able to have dreads like that unless you use extensions or spend half of every waking moment devoted to working on them. We are white. Our hair doesn't do that unfortunately.
