"It is they who lied" or "it is them who lied?"
2011年3月23日 · I would assume that 'they' is correct in this matter. Them sounds terribly wrong to me. I think it is so because you would say, "That is he" because he is a subject pronoun. We, she, I, he, and they are all subjective. So, if that is he is correct, then that is they is correct as well. That is them sounds wrong.
