2020年11月14日 · Wildfire has some additional utility out of the pet. Wildfire can relocate, stars gets woe/weal. Wildfire has the spell list, stars gets free casts of guiding bolt. Yes wildfire pet hovers, if you play to 10 dragon form also hovers. They just compete for the same design space as opposed to wildfire being the blaster druid and stars being support.

2021年8月27日 · Meanwhile, when playing Wildfire Druid I can weave the themes of fire, destruction and renewal into several of my spells (i.e. reflavouring Barkskin as fiery armor) and combined with the Druid's elemental spells, it helps to create that Avatar-esque "master of the elements" feeling.

2021年10月25日 · I am thinking of playing a Wildfire Druid for an upcoming campaign and will likely go with Half High Elf. I think it's hard to beat, because of the free cantrip. I probably get to pick a free feat at level 1, and I was surprised to find the Aberrant Dragonmark feat from Eberron - Rising from the Last War really tempting.

2021年3月29日 · The spell list is fine and we’ve actually made it a running joke that the wildfire Druid of all people can’t cast fireball. Cauterizing Flames is one of its strongest abilities specially because you can hold it for a minute so in multiple occasions the Druid has held it until the barbarian is downed to just get him back up.

2022年10月22日 · The basic strategy with a wildfire druid is to place your elemental companion near your squishy allies. It can move 30ft per round and if you command it, it can teleport your allies. And it can do that infinitely - there is no limit on fiery teleport other than the fact that your wildfire companion needs to be alive.

2021年12月4日 · Late to the party, but I played a wildfire druid weekly for a year and a half so I figured I’d share my experience. Pros: In combat, you have insane mobility. Your wildfire spirit can teleport every single turn. Even though it’s only 15 ft. That’s still enough to get you out of immediate danger a lot of the time.

2022年7月25日 · So I have played a 1-10 level campaign ending as a life cleric 1 / wildfire Druid 9 and to be frank with you, the whole casting from your spirit is very situational. Scorching ray, burning hands, createbonfire/produce flame will be your bread and butter.

2020年11月28日 · I ended up changing it to 13 lvls wildfire Druid/ 6 lvls pyromancer sorcerer/ 1 lvl life cleric. The reason for change is those higher level Druid spells with life cleric were too tempting to pass up. It now reaches lvl 3 spells for sorcerer, and lvl 7 spells for Druid, and as far as spell slot progression it’s lvl 20 progression.
