How do I scan multiple pages as a PDF file in Windows 11?
2021年11月1日 · Windows has always had poor PDF support and that does not seem to have improved in Windows 11. I have tried both the built-in "Windows Fax and Scan" app and the "Windows Scan" app from the Windows Store. Neither of them will scan multiple pages to a PDF file which seriously is the most basic requirement for a scanner app in 2022.

2014年4月14日 · In Windows 8.1.1 Pro x64 when I start the Scan app it says "To get started, install a scanner." However, I did install a scanner, and it appears in PC Settings > Devices. Moreover, my scanner works fine on the desktop with Windows Fax and Scan.

2016年11月30日 · I just downloaded the scanning app that is compatible with Windows 10 and all of the settings (scanner, source, file type, etc) has been set and once I click "scan" I receive a pop up box that states "Problem Scanning. Something went wrong. Please try again." I DO NOT get that same message when I click Preview Scan. The scan works well.

2018年1月1日 · I installed Microsoft SCAN app for Windows 10 from the Microsoft store. It installed correctly and I ran it from the store launch option. Since then I cannot locate this program. I can go back to the store and bring up the app. It says htat it is already installed and offers the opportunity to launch from there, but that is a pain.

What makes this very annoying is that it my laptop has no issues recognizing the printer and scanner - all the devices are connected and recognized under the System Settings>Bluetooh and Devices>Printers and Scanners menu.

2020年5月17日 · It's default is colour and that is the only option available, I've reinstalled the driver and still doesn't allow me to scan in either b&w or greyscale, the other windows scan doesn't even give me the option to select a colour format. I'm so confused why it's like this. You're not using Windows Fax & Scan. You're using the Scan app.

2018年7月21日 · Going back to the scanner page of settings I clicked on the Open Scanner button. Scan came up but said "To get started, connect to a scanner." If I open Windows Scan on it's own, a popup reads "Problem connecting to scanner. We can't find a scanner. Attach it to your PC and go to PC settings to add it."
