I've called Wood-mizer and left a message asking them to call back Monday when they have a solution. They're fast headed towards a three star review, my greatest hope is that I don't end up having to return the mill.

2013年8月29日 · Call Wood Mizer. They will tell you the phone numbers of folks in your area who have a Wood Mizer. I have used two with stationary mills and one with a portable. The portable works well, but is limited to a 28-inch diameter log. My third sawyer has a big mill that can take a 35-inch diameter, and he is my choice.

2014年4月16日 · I did buy a mill earlier this year, a Wood-Mizer LX-55 and for the most part I'm very pleased with it. It really is not a portable mill unless you put it on a trailer and I've considered buying a portable mill to supplement or replace it. There's currently a 14 month(!) lead time for a LT35 hydraulic mill.

2013年10月22日 · I need to come up with a way to saw 24-30" long logs on my Wood-Mizer Sawmill if possible. As it is now there is no way to clamp them (existing clamps are 46" apart. 2008年1月13日 · Wood-Mizer - LT40HD Hydraulic Portable Sawmill (Rating: 5) After twelve years of use I can say this is a first class band saw. I have put mine through the test. The largest log I put on it was a 48" diameter, 26' long Redwood that weighed over 17,000 pounds. Wish I took photos of this one. I cut over 80,000 bdft on that one job.

2021年3月2日 · The Timberwolf's "worked" but I had to apply a fair amount of force to get the wood through the 3/4" 2 tooth per inch blade. I had heard about Wood-Slicer blades and decided to try one. Wow, what a difference! The Wood-Slicer blades are from Highland Woodworking in Atlanta. They are named appropriately for sure.
