I was able to add the AMEX gift card to my Apple wallet. From there, I was able to use my Apple wallet to pay for an Uber gift card. Looks like it works.

I received an Amex gift card from my company for my 15 years anniversary in the amount of $750. I tried to use it on chewy.com and a curtain website called Cutarra. Both times the card was declined without an explanation. It should work exactly as a normal amex card online as long as the merchant accepts amex which both sites did.

I have successfully used my $50 Amex gift card on Amazon. You have to buy Amazon gift cards with your Amex gift card. You can only use $9.99 each time to load onto the Amazon gift card. So I first bought an Amazon gift card for $9.99 with the Amex card. Then I reloaded it 4 times with $9.99. It worked!
