Boy is a freaking unit. New price seems more like the young learning Price that becomes the OG one. Looks at his mannerisms from OG trilogy to the new MW3.

In the last mission in MW3, Price literally breaks into a hotel to kill someone, so I'm guessing that after killing Makarov, he was taken in by the police. Someone like Mac could have bailed him out. He was in contact with Nikolai during the mission, so it's possible Nikolai picked him up shortly. Like OP mentioned, Price could have died shortly.

Price seems like the absolute most useless soldier who people think is cool. He failed to kill Zachieve, that was Soap, he spent half of mw2 in prison, didn’t do anything throughout it except launch a nuke at the United States for some reason, got his ass beat by Shepard, failed to save soap and barely beat Makorov after Yuri was killed.
