HDMI over Twisted Pair (2x CAT6) or HDMI over HDBaseT (1x CAT6) are better options.

2021年11月28日 · The CAT output 4 from the Fourkay HDMI over CAT6 matrix in the AV rack is connected to the 2nd CAT6 socket behind the screen. A CAT6 cable from this socket goes to the matrix balun. The HDMI from the balun goes to input 1 on the 535. This is where my issue is. I cannot for the life of me get the matrix to display anything reliably to this input.

Given TV's and brackets are becoming thinner and thinner there's little room as is for connections, you can't even fit a standard UK plug behind my TV...

2009年6月2日 · HDMI Balun are not all created equal - some will work some of the time; others tend to work all of the time. Most Balun wont cope with short CAT5/6 cables - many require at least 15m between the Tx and Rx units. You may want to consider a different set of Balun:

2024年11月25日 · Some without a balun and some with. We have swapped every single HDMI Cable. It is brand new TV, AVR and Balun. We have certified our ethernet cable for the balun multiple times. All HDMI Cables are 2 meter +. EDIT All HDMI Cables are some form of the binary B6-4K2 series and are 2 meter + but still within the recommended length for passive cables.
