I feel this way a lot unfortunately. I always worry when I'm happy that I can't be too happy because something bad will happen as a result. I'm trying to remind myself that life has its ups and downs, and that I'm just experiencing the natural flow of life. Bad things just happen. They don't happen as a responxe to my happiness.

My fiance was fired from a toxic work environment just before thanksgiving and he already thinks it was the best thing that ever happened to him. He's almost done now with the certification he needs to start a much better career. I'm sure you'll be in a much better position soon, too :)

Although I don't think you can really change your preference for being alone, I definitely think it's possible to also enjoy other things too by slowly getting used to them ...

In a years time, I’m going to be a happy woman with her own house for her family and so on. Think about what you really want for yourself in the future. Don’t try and think about a future where you could be happy, it is what you make it.
