2023年7月16日 · Rand McNally hands down, I have a Rand TND 740 and a Garmin OTR 700, the Rand totally blows the Garmin away. I see quite a number of drivers that swear by Garmin but I don't see how or why, it's slow as crap figuring routes, seems to always take the longest route possible and is not very user friendly.

You can also choose between North facing map mode and directional facing map mode from the map on the Rand McNally which I liked as I'd select north facing map mode to get my bearings and then switch back to directional facing map.

It’s another formerly reputable corporation bought out by Wall Street hedge fund goons who only care about getting the profits for themselves, and using it as a tax shelter once it goes under, much like what happened with sears.

2021年5月18日 · The Garmin directiobs are generally better but the Rand McNally has a ton of cool features I use. My RM is 1st generation. My RM is 1st generation. They now come with a new navigation engine, and they have added II to the end of the model name.

2015年7月20日 · Yesterday my 740 worked fine. Today, I can't get past the red truck GPS splash screen that you get when you try to go to maps or destinations or settings when you first turn the unit on. After it sits on the red truck gps screen for a few minutes, I get a message that says "Truck GPS is not responding. Do you want to close it?"
Which GPS is better, Rand McNally 710 or Garmin Dezl 560?
2012年1月22日 · Haven't tried the Garmin but have been using the Rand McNally for a year. First purchased the Cobra but returned it after it kept routing me to streets clearly posted either with weight limits or no trucks. Rand McNally works pretty well, but not perfect.
