2018年7月15日 · Hello guys. i am trying to decide between PRRI and Roland JC40 for my first "real" amp. my current situation is that i live in a dormitory where i can be kinda loud by day only "at certain times" and the volume is a big deal to me, even after i finish my studies i will probably end up in an apartment and i will still have the volume issue.

2018年3月19日 · Wondering whether you have tried running the HX Stomp into the Roland JC-40? Maybe that's what you're saying here, but it seems like you're talking about using the Stomp with the Mark IV. I already have the Stomp, and am seriously considering running it into the JC-40 using 4CM at gigs in small to medium clubs.

2018年3月19日 · I believe the clean channel on the katana is a Roland JC model. It takes HD dirt pedals really well. So well that I never bother with the rest of the katana models. I imagine it would be even better with the Klon, OCD, and Timmy models in the HX. Having said that, I'd love to get a real deal JC sometime.

Roland JC-40 Speaker Help Needed Apologies if this is well trod terrain. I have a JC-40 which I’m loving, however I’ve acquired a Celestion Alnico Gold 10” so I was keen to swap out one of the speakers to see what (if anything good or bad) the alnico speaker does to the tone.

2016年12月2日 · Roland Street Cube EX - what I'm currently using. $500, 16lbs. Stereo separation is not pronounced, but you do get a bit more air than mono. As noted above, probably no good for keys with a lot of bass or bass guitar, but great for guitar and vocal.

2024年9月27日 · I don’t have any experience with FRFR, but what I like to do is use an amp‘s return, bypassing the preamp section. In my case it’s a Roland JC40, but I’m sure there are many other suitable amps for the application, especially if you don’t like the brightness of the Roland speakers (I do).
