At first, Rui seems to be a mad scientist character, but his character isn’t fleshed out very well in the main story, and he is shown to be very defensive of his friends (Nene) when Tsukasa is angry with her for letting the performance fail.

But, move Mizuki and Rui up a few tiers since their parents do support them a lot! Heck, Rui's mom was just like him back when she was young and they also let their son live in a garage.

2022年10月10日 · Don’t know if they’re the most popular but definitely up there. For Mizuki, them being pretty canonically LGBT I’m sure is a huge part of it (they’re implied to either be nonbinary or trans).

2022年6月24日 · There was the "Leo/Need goes to watch the Wonderland x Showtime show" event, so they've certainly met before, but the focus of that event wasn't on Rui or Saki so I think it was pretty superficial. We find out that Rui transferred from another school to Kamiyama the day (i think) Tsukasa hunts him down. Do we know why he was at the old school? Why did he transfer away?
