Pepper Jelly Yield: 4 cups. 2 cups ground sweet and hot peppers, mixed in a variety, desired for hotness¾ cup vinegar6 tablespoons Pectin ( I use Sure Jell) 3½ cups sugarMix ground peppers with vinegar in a 3 quart pan. Add Sure-Jell and bring to a rolling boil. Add sugar and boil hard for one minute, stirring constantly. Pour into hot, sterile jars. I processed for 15 minutes In a hot water bath. I also add red pepper flakes. Sure Jell ( pectin) now comes in a bottle. It used to come in a box.
