Beef Kare - Kare This Filipino dish traditionally comes with shrimp paste or bagoong. But I have a red shellfish allergy. So, the broth and the beef shank are well seasoned. If you want to add shrimp paste as dip you may use it for the vegetables. I didn’t realize this is by far the most challenging to cook. But, let me tell you, this is all worth it.
