Tips for decorating a cake

I think that a cake must be beautiful inside and out. That’s why I love making sure my cake layers are the same thickness and there’s the same amount of filling in each layer. To do so I cut my layers making a small cut right in the middle and keep my knife level and fixed in the same spot while I move the turntable, that way I’m able to cut an even layer.
