Premature calves are so unrewarding but we always try! No matter what, they get a fighting chance 🖤 Premature twin calves out of a heifer on an 8 degree morning - odds are not in our favor. The other bull calf didn’t make it but we’re trying to give this one a chance. Premature calves are heart breakers. They usually live long enough to give you hope but ultimately done make it.
