Chipping away on this painting,(24x36 oil on panel.) developing forms and shapes whilst trying to maintain the integrity of the underpainting. I’ve incorporated a rag to wipe back the edges of the dry painting below softening the transition .. it may seem counterintuitive to some but is a method I’ve always used. At this point I’ll start developing the foliage with glazes and opaques.. the brush I’m using here is a @rosemarybrushes Long Flat series 279. #renatomuccillo_fine_arts #landscapepainti
