I buy abrasives for my drum sander in long rolls. So a bunch of years ago I made a template that gives me the right length and the angles on each end for each strip. This is the easiest way for me to get these strips right. The dimensions for the template were in the owner’s manual. The end of the roll that’s been cut is the starting point for the next strip. The template leans against a wall when I’m not using it. If I make another one I’ll hinge it so it folds up. #drumsander #sandpaper #abras
