An eruption of Mount Anak Krakatau in Lampung occurred on November 28, 2023 at 13:21 local time, with the observed height of the ash column reaching approximately 1,000 meters above the summit (approximately 1,157 meters above sea level). The observed ash column was black in color, with thick intensity leaning towards the northeast. This eruption was recorded on a seismogram with a maximum amplitude of 70 mm and a duration of approximately 46 seconds.
