Good balanced horse riding is so hard… can’t believe how hard it is to teach Neam (and myself) a canter pirouette. I think we’ve been working on this for over 6 months now. It’s so hard to keep him engaged on both hindlegs, keep enough impulsion, keep his shoulders balanced and his back loose and making sure he’s not compensating with his head and neck.
